Genesis 4:6

And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

1. The LORD apparently tried to help Cain understand why his offering had been rejected and how he ought to respond to it.
2. When our attempts to please the LORD are not successful, we should not become angry or discouraged.
3. We should not react with anger toward those who have committed crimes.
