Genesis 4:5

But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

1. The LORD did not respect or accept Cain and his offering. (I'm feeling a bit uncertain about the LORD's attitude toward Cain and Abel.)
2. Cain was angry with the LORD's response to his offering.
3. Cain became discouraged.
