Genesis 4:17

And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

1. Cain married.
2. Cain and his wife had a son named Enoch.
3. Cain built a city and named it Enoch.
4. Cain, it appears, was proud of his son.
5. Cain, it appears, did not spend his life running from the law, nor traveling from place to place, but he settled down and became a builder.
6. Unless the LORD was mistaken, Cain was a fugitive and a vagabond in some other sense.
7. Cain's wife was willing to marry a murderer.
8. Cain's wife may have helped him become a useful member of society.
