Genesis 2:9

And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

1. The LORD God caused trees to grow on the earth and in the garden.
2. The LORD God created 2 unusual trees in the garden - the tree of life, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
3. Two purposes of trees are: 1) they are pleasant to look at; 2) they provide food.
