Genesis 3:3

But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

1. Eve quoted to the serpent God's restriction that they not eat the fruit of the tree that grew in the middle of the garden. If they did, they would die.
2. Eve remembered God's commandment and the reason for it.
3. We should remember God's commandments and any associated explanations for them.
