Genesis 8:3

And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.

1. So, the waters begin to recede, and by the end of 150 days they were considerably lower.
2. Even the worst trials eventually come to an end, at least in the eternal view of things.
