Genesis 5:5

And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

1. Adam died at the age of 930.
2. People in the days of Adam lived a lot longer.
3. The human race appears to have physically degenerated over time.
4. The serpent's statement to Eve that they would "not surely die" if they partook of the fruit proved to be incorrect. Hence, the serpent was either ignorant and willing to make claims of which it was uncertain, or a knowing liar.
5. Dishonesty has been around from the beginning.
6. When God says something will happen, count on it.
7. Don't listen to snakes.
